Do I need to apply to be a member of Tri-Now?

No! Our club is open to anyone. No try-outs, applications or parameters have to be met to join. To become a meber, Join Here

 

I see membership and group programs. What is the difference?

Tri-Now membership is a 12 or 3 month membership for Tri-Now club. Benefits include group workouts, discounts on clinics, camps, events and more, plus access to member only content and private FB group.

Group training programs are small group coaching for a specific event, and include a daily training plan via Training Peaks, group calls with the coach, coached workouts, and clinics or periodic evaluations dependng on program. We offer group trainning programs from Rookie to 70.3! You do not need to be a member to take advantage of our training programs.

 

Can I sign up for a training program or 1:1 coaching if I am not a club member?

Yes! you do not need to be a member to take advatntage of any of our training programs, 1:1 coaching or camps, clinics etc.  

 

Do you offer swim lessons?

Yes! We offer private sessions in swim, bike and run plus strength and more!  We also offer individual coaching for all levels and our group workouts provide the best place to practice! We recommend learning to swim before choosing a race, and we can help you learn. 

Does membership last for a full year?

Yes, if you choose the 12-month membership. If you join in March, your membership won’t expire until the following March. (We also have 3-month memberships available!)

 

Do I have to do a triathlon to be a part of Tri-Now?

Absolutely not! Members enjoy working out with friends. Whether they are training for a race, or just for general fitness, there are no requirements for membership.

 

Do you have more than swim, bike and run?

We sure do! We also offer health coaching, private sessions in health coaching and sessions in Inner Relationship Focusing which address the mental and emotional side of training. You can visit those here or contact Coach Debra for more info: Debra@Tri-Now.com  

Can I come to a workout if I am not a member?

Yes, we welcome anyone to drop-in at a workout!  You will need  to register and pay the drop-in fee. Visit our Calendar to find a workout. You’ll find the link to register in the description.

 

What do I bring to a workout?

Bring whatever you need for that particular sport. Always bring hydration, even if it’s cold and you don’t think you need it. Here are some suggestions below:

  1. Swim: cap, goggles, fins, paddles, snorkel, kickboard. Don’t have all that stuff? Cap and goggles will do!
  2. Bike: bike, helmet (required), shoes, eye covering, flat kit, navigation system, and anything else you use for the bike.
  3. Run: shoes, hat/visor, and your hydration.
